George Guerrier, charged with an aggravated assault on an aboriginal female, in the Vasse district, pleaded guilty.
Mr. Nash, as counsel for the prisoner addressed the Court in mitigation of punishment . The Advocate-General intimated he had nothing to urge in aggravation. Several certificates were read, giving the prisoner a general good character, and as to his being peaceful and orderly, and of his good nature and obliging disposition. Fined £5.
