[86]The Court doth direct that Lawrence Davoren be committed to
His Majesty's Gaol at Sydney until discharged by due Court of Law
for scandalous and libellous reflections introduced in an address
to this Court written by him and exhibited and read in this Court
on behalf of the above named James McDonald.

[106] Lawrence Davoren is brought to the bar of the Court for his
gross contempt of this court in the scandalous address written and
exhibited by him to this Court and the Court doth order that he
be committed to his Majesty's Gaol at Parramatta for the space of
one Calendar Month, and that he do there enter into a recognizance
for his Good behaviour for the space of six months longer himself
in the sum of £50 [107] and two sureties in the sum of £25
each, and be further imprisoned until such sureties and recognizance
be found.
