Sec. and R Scott Esq. on the massacres of the blacks at Liverpool Plains - with two enclosures: 21 April 1828 [1] [94] No 18/298 Colonial Secretary's Office Sydney 21 April 1828 Sir, Not having been favoured with a reply to my letter of the 19 th ultimo, respecting the alleged Murder, of certain Black Natives at Liverpool Plains, sometime ago, I am now directed by His Excellency the Governor to transmit to you the annexed Copy, and to request your early attention to it, [in margin "19 March 1828 Copy"] I have the honor to be Sir, Your Obedient Servant Alex Mc Leay Robert Scott Esq. P Glendon , Hunters River [95] Copy: Colonial Secretary's Office, Sydney 19 March 1828 Sir, A Robertson, Esq of Wallis Plains having referred me to you, for information respecting a Massacre of certain Natives alleged to have been perpetrated at Liverpool Plains, some time ago - I am directed by His Excellency the Governor, to request that you will transmit to me any particulars of the same with which you may be acquainted.
