Sir,
In acknowledging the receipt of your letter of the 22nd Ultimo, reporting the information obtained respecting the girl supposed to have been stolen , sometime since by the blacks, I am directed to inform you, that the Governor concludes the Magistrates will of what may be proper in the matter.,
