to wit} James Glennie Esq of Dulwich, Hunters River Settler
Sworn stateth ,
That on Sunday the 11th last, on of Deponents Cows was brought home with a wound in her side - Deponent examined the wound & is convinced the wound was caused by a spear. That Dr Bowman also examined the Cow & gave it as his opinion that the Cow had been speared.

Mr Benjamin Singleton of St Patrick's Plains, yeoman - on oath says that about four months ago a cow in Deponents charge & belonging to M r . Whitfield of Sydney, was speared- Deponent went out and brought her home, & drew out the point part of a spear from her [85] neck -
that two months before the cow was speared deponent had a calf speared, through the cap of the neck
