Colonial Cases

South Australia

South Australia is poorly served by law reporting. We began to publish cases from this jurisdiction, but only as a temporary measure. Fortunately, the Austlii team which is developing the Australasian Legal History Library is working on unpublished case law from South Australia, from foundation onwards. For details of the project, see its description of the project. The first very large batch, from 1837 to 1851, is now online.

We do not plan to add further South Australian cases to this Colonial Cases website, in light of Austlii's developments.
