Undergraduate Study

Macquarie Law has a very strong undergraduate program leading to the award of the Bachelor of Laws, which is accredited by the Supreme Court of New South Wales for legal practice. We teach the Court's required subjects, as well as a wide range of optional subjects offering a variety of specialisations at the senior level.

Combined Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degrees

Our students undertake the full-time LLB in a combined degree structure, with a degree in:

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) by Distance Education

Students who complete the B Laws degree by distance education will meet the academic qualification for the practice of law in Australia.

Applications for B Laws are only open to students who will be:

This degree is only offered externally on a part-time basis. The minimum length of study is between 5.5 - 6 years.

Students who wish to study in this mode are supported by the Centre for Open Education dedicated to the administrative support of such students.


Department of Business Law

Our Department of Business Law provides units majoring in Business Law for a range of programs in the Divisions of Arts and Economic and Financial Studies.
