Special Evening Seminar
"On the Erosion of Property Rights in Contemporary Australian Law"
Macquarie's Division of Law would like to announce a Special Evening Seminar Presentation as part of its 2008 Seminar Series: Limiting Leviathan: Law and Liberty. Our special guest speaker is the Hon. Ian Callinan QC, who will be presenting a paper entitled "On the Erosion of Property Rights in Contemporary Australian Law".

Our speaker is a former Justice of the High Court of Australia. He was admitted to the Queensland Bar in 1965 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1978. He was President of the Queensland Bar Association between 1984 and 1987, President of the Australian Bar Association in 1984-85, and appointed a Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia in 2003.
