The Division of Law is developing new and supportive structures for our research students. We hold several annual events including a Seminar Day where students have the opportunity to present a paper to the academic staff and their peers for critical evaluation and feedback.

We hold weekly seminars every Thursday at lunchtime and invite all staff and research students to attend. Once a month this is followed by an informal coffee afternoon with research students. We have Annual Symposiums for students to meet as a group informally with the Dean to discuss issues or concerns related to their postgraduate studies. This is followed by a social function where students can meet with academic staff and fellow research students.

The Division of Law provides a computer research room with internet and email facilities for full time research students. In addition assistance with funding for presentation and attendance at conferences and research expenses is available through the Division for all our research students.
