Coursework Degrees


Master of Banking and Financial Regulation

(For lawyers and non-lawyers)

The program will be attractive to professionals in the financial services sector who want to deepen their knowledge of the law and regulatory aspects of banking, insurance, the securities industry and other forms of financial intermediation. It is open to graduates in any discipline and does not assume prior legal knowledge. Assessment is based upon essay work, and research areas can be chosen by students in consultation with the lecturer convening each unit.

Admission requirements:

A bachelor degree in any discipline
Length of candidature: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time, 2 years by distance study
Course Requirements: 32 credit points

Attendance:



Internal or external.
External students are required to attend intensive 2 day on-campus sessions for each unit undertaken. In most instances these sessions are held on weekends.
