Business Law Units

A minimum of six units must be studied in order to meet the requirements for a BA degree. It is also possible, by combining the business law units with certain units in economics, to qualify for a BCom or BEc degree. None of the Business Law units are offered to first year students.

The following legal techniques are explored and practised to a varying degree in all units:

For the complete major, students need to choose at least four of the 300-level units, one of which must be BUSL315 Business Litigation. BUSL201 Law in Australian Society and BUSL250 Business Law must be completed beforehand.
