Dear Business Law students,
A warm welcome to the Department of Business Law.
The uniqueness of this Department lies in the cultural diversity of its student cohort. Students come from a variety of backgrounds, many are from overseas and as such have English as a second language.
This Department seeks to foster that diversity so as to enrich the learning environment. The world of business operates in a global environment and not in a vacuum, therefore business is influenced by the cultural environment in which it operates. The Department of Business Law recognizes this and the courses offered embrace these factors.
We welcome and encourage student feedback on the content and method of delivery of our courses. As a result of your feedback we are able, where appropriate, to change the content and method of delivery of our courses. Though we have a large number of students, we assure you that we make every effort to introduce innovative teaching and learning methods to accommodate your needs.
We hope you enjoy the subjects that you undertake in the Department and that the cultural diversity you experience will be an enriching one.
