Academic Advice
The Business Law Academic Advisor is Ms Penelope Janu. Penelope can help with most aspects of academic advice, and if she can't help you, she'll be happy to point you in the right direction! You may be enrolled in a BCom and have questions about the business law 'sub-major' (required for professional accreditation purposes). You may be interested in completing a full business law 'major' for a BA degree, or you may simply be interested in taking individual subjects in the business law area. Penelope will be happy to help with any aspect of study relating to business law.
Penelope is located in W3A 434 (adjacent to the Business Law Notice Board).

Dean of Students
Colin Wastell takes up his role as Acting Dean of Students during 2006 and will be the Dean until August. Colin will be working from the Dean's Office in the Lincoln Building (Telephone 98507464). The Dean of Students, Dr Judith Dickson, is available to undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students at all levels who need advice about their studies and the University’s procedures, but do not know where or how to seek help, or what help is available.

Students encountering difficulties of any kind, and particularly academic difficulties, can contact the Dean to discuss their concerns and will be advised on appropriate action to take or whom they should consult to resolve their problems.
For appointments telephone the Dean’s Executive Assistant, Ms Christine Pegrem, on 9850-7464. The Dean’s office is located on Level 2 of the Lincoln Building (entrance from the Library end of the building).
