Macquarie Law School
LLB by Distance
The LLB by Distance program is designed for students who are working full-time or who have other commitments that prevent them from attending full-time at University. The LLB by Distance allows students to study on a part-time basis, completing their degree in external mode. External students are provided with support through Macquarie's Centre for Open Education and have access to online learning tools and materials.
Rather than attend classes on a weekly basis, LLB by Distance students must attend a two-day intensive for each unit studied per semester. These on-campus sessions are usually held in the mid-semester breaks of the University (April and then late September). The on-campus sessions provide LLB by Distance students with the opportunity to interact with their peers and to engage with the academics teaching at the Law School.
