While the graduate LLB enables students to study by distance on a full-time basis, Macquarie Law School does not recommend that students attempt to study full time and work full time.  Students who start in the graduate LLB are not precluded from subsequently pursuing part time studies.  The admission requirements for the graduate LLB are the same irrespective of whether a student wishes to study on an internal or external basis and applications are to be made via UAC  

Students who study by distance will have access to online learning tools, including the ability to download lectures shortly after they are delivered.  All students studying the LLB by distance (in external mode) are still required to attend two-day oncampus sessions for each unit that they study.  These two-day oncampus sessions are typically held during the University's mid-semester breaks (in April and late September each year). The schedule for the oncampus sessions each year is set out in the University's Handbook.
