Mr D'Ascenzo is a Second Commissioner of Taxation and Chief Tax Counsel for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Currently he has an overall focus on the interpretation of tax law and tax law implementation processes, as well as a focus on corporate planning, finance, and governance.
As well as corporate stewardship responsibilities as Second Commissioner he chairs the Public Rulings, International Rulings and GST Rulings Panels.
