Natalie's research interests in the field of environmental taxation lie in the use of fiscal instruments as effective means of encouraging compliance with environmental policies. In particular, Natalie has published papers on the special provisions surrounding rehabilitation expenditure of mining companies and has collaborated on projects exploring the interface of environmental taxation with environmental accounting principles.
