Dr Kerry Schott

Dr Kerry Schott holds a BA (First Class Honours) from the University of New England, Armidale, an MA from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and a D.Phil from Oxford University. Her areas of interest include, mathematics, economics, and econometrics.
Dr Schott has had extensive experience in the public and private sectors.
- She joined the Commonwealth Government in 1975, and then from 1984-87 where she worked in the area of economic policy. She then worked in the Reserve Bank of Australia, in the early 1970šs.
- She then went into investment banking where she became the Managing Director of Deutsch Bank.
- Dr Schott is currently with the Caliburn Partnership
She is a member of several Boards, where she serves in different capacities. These include:
- Chair of the Film and Television Office
- Directorships on the Boards of Sydney Water, the Film Finance Corporation, and Australian Airlines
- Member of the Takeover Panel.
She has also served as Trade Practices Commissioner.
