Drawing on her experience as a tax lawyer and as a legislative assistant in the United States Senate, Janet Milne is an Associate Professor at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont, where she teaches environmental tax policy and land use law. She is the founder and director of the law school's Environmental Tax Policy Institute, which hosted the Third Annual Global Conference on Environmental Taxation in 2002. She serves as associate editor of Critical Issues in International Environmental Taxation (CCH 2002) and Environmental Taxation 2002 (Richmond 2003) and as Vice Chair of the Committee on Energy and Environmental Taxation in the American Bar Association's Tax Section.
