James commenced his PhD in 2003. He is interested in the broader role of corporations in society, particularly the use of the coporation versus other organisational forms for the provision of goods and services. His current research interests include corporate social responsibility, triple bottom line reporting, and the policy implications of environmental taxation as it affects the twin debates of corporate social responsibility and socially responsible investment.
