As an economist in the Directorate for Economics of France's Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, Thomas Groh is an economic adviser on all subjects related to environment and sustainable development. He has worked on the design of energy taxes and emission permits, and is part of the French delegation to the UN Convention on Climate Change. He is the co-author of a recent report on domestic and international climate change policies and he is an assistant professor in economics at the Sorbonne University.
Mr Groh has a special interest for the project of a European directive on the taxation of energy products.
