Roger Burritt has a long term interest in environmental accounting and reporting in the private and public sectors. Environmental taxation is an economic instrument that has received much publicity in recent years and Roger is interested to explore whether and how environmental taxation issues appear as corporate disclosures in annual reports. He has published widely in academic and professional journals and is a co-author of the book Contemporary Environmental Accounting with Prof Stefan Schaltegger (Greenleaf Publishing: Sheffield, UK 2000).
