MU-CEL initiates discussions for links to the Centre for Environmental Law Faculty of Law, at Tribhuvan University in Nepal and universities in Bangladesh
Dr Shawkat Alam during his recent visit to the Centre for Environmental Law, Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University , Nepal explored the possibility of future academic collaboration and cooperation between the Macquarie University CEL and Tribhuvan University CEL. His discussions with Nepal CEL academics were in relation to establishing specific educational relations and cooperation in order to promote academic linkages, collaborative research, student exchange and other educational developments and these discussions are expected to result in the signing of an MOU early in the new year..
Academic Collaboration and Cooperation with Universities in Bangladesh
Dr. Shawkat Alam during his Bangladesh visit met with members of the Faculty of law of Dhaka University, Head of the BRAC University School of Law, and Vice Chancellor of Open University, Bangladesh with a view to facilitate the process of future co-operative research, academic affiliations and teaching arrangements with MU-CEL. Discussions are underway with these institutions for academic collaboration and cooperation including student and faculty exchanges, and joint research.
