Dr Shawkat Alam will speak at the first Asia section conference titled ‘Biodiversity Conservation in Asia : Current Status and Future Perspectives’ organized by the Society for Conservation Biology during 17-20 November 2005 in Kathmandu , Nepal . There will be more than 160 participants in the conference.
