David Leary and Visiting Professor Jose Morato Leite to speak at International Environmental Law Conference in Brazil . (May 2005)
David Leary has been invited to present a paper on the sustainable management of marine biodiversity in Australia at an international environmental law conference to be held in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil from 23 to 25 May. The conference is being organised by the Attorney-General’s Office of Rio de Janeiro in conjunction with Pace University .
David will be presenting a paper on implementation of Australia ’s Oceans Policy with respect to the sustainable management of Patagonian toothfish and whaling in Australia ’s sub-antarctic and Antarctic territories.
Professor José Rubens Morato Leite who is a visiting Professor in MUCEL from the Federal University of Santa Caterina , Brazil will also be presenting a paper at this conference.
