Call for Papers
Deadline for submission of abstracts extended

Key-note presenters and papers for the first two days of the Colloquium will be by invitation of the Conference Organising Committee. However, abstracts for the remaining sessions are invited for consideration by the Committee.

Selected proceedings of the Colloquium will be published in the Annals of the Academy of Environmental Law, a peer reviewed Cambridge University Press publication. Every effort to publish papers not selected for the Annals in other journals or publications will be made.

The revised timetable for participation in the Colloquium is as follows

Submission of Abstracts   29 April, 2005

Notification of acceptance of paper  13 May, 2005

Submission of final paper for publication   15 June, 2005.

Final papers and abstracts submitted after these dates cannot be accepted for presentation or publication due to organisational deadlines. Selection of papers by the Committee will be based upon a range of factors including the geographic distribution of the authors, the importance of the topic, the quality and originality of the topics and the range of topics needed to fill the agenda for the Colloquium.

Annotated abstracts not exceeding 500 words may be submitted by email to the conference organisers at infoiucn@law.mq.edu.au . Abstracts should be typed double spaced 12 point-Times New Roman font.

The abstract should also include the full name and associated institution of the author. If there is more than one author for a paper then the presenting author should also be indicated. The abstract should also include contact details including email address, telephone number facsimile number (if available) and postal address.

Style guidelines for accepted papers are available here.
